Hello Fellow Woodworkers!

My Latest Woodworking Tutorial (Click Image Below)

In this DIY woodworking video, I'll guide you through how to create your very own Rudolph The Gold Nose Reindeer from rustic wood. All you need is a couple of tools and some joy for the holiday season (or perhaps you just love Reindeers if you are reading this in July:) I will also show you how to add several personal touches to make your Reindeer unique. Now go grab your tools and lets start this WoodStory!

WoodStory Community Corner

This week's community submission is from Mark C and I think he did an amazing job with the addition of the candle holder at the bottom of this Christmas Tree project featured here. From Mark C "I had such a good time making the Christmas trees, I've made 10 so far. I've added a few additions of my own and think they look so attractive. These are made completely out of pallet wood. The star is drilled as well as the base and I used a wooden BBQ skewer glued to mount it. Hope you like it." We definitely like it and thanks for sharing!!! If you want to submit your own project photos, send them to info@standishwoodstory.com to be featured in a future newsletter.

Quote of the Week

"I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus underneath the mistletoe, and I'm pretty sure they were both admiring the craftsmanship of the hand-carved ornaments."

For my next project, I need some router templates and found this useful to help with my final design.

You guessed it! I still haven't made up my mind about which drill press to buy, but I am getting closer:)

How I Built This - Everlane: Michael Preysman

Starting with no knowledge of the fashion industry, Michael Preysan created a multi-billion dollar business that focuses on sustainable and socially responsible clothing. Very inspiring!

And, as always, please give me feedback on how to improve. Which bullet above is your favorite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions? Please let me know.
